Chicago Bears great, Devin Hester was one of the greatest kick and punt returners in all of football. One could say he was only rivaled by Gale Sayers in kickoff and punt return talent.  This picture amplifies his breakaway ability as he slices his way through the Packers on his way to another touchdown.

Unfortunately, Hester has not yet received a call from the NFL Hall of Fame.  His accolades may focus mainly on his special teams accomplishments. He was a very good receiver.  Unfortunately, the Bears suffered from a lack of good quarterback plays during his tenure with the team.  Despite this handicap Devin Hester was named to 3 Pro Bowls and was named player of the week 13 times.  Perhaps a better quarterback would have significantly enhanced Hester’s receiving statistics; however, this did not diminish his significant impact on the game via special teams plays.
